Investing in the Future: 2027 Houzz Scholarship Program Open for Entries
At Houzz, we’re committed to supporting the next generation of construction and design professionals as they prepare to make their mark on the industry. Through the annual Houzz Scholarship Program, we help aspiring professionals build the knowledge, skills and experience needed for successful careers.
Applications are now open for the 2027 program, which awards five $2,500 scholarships to students pursuing careers in residential construction, architecture, design and the skilled trades.
Scholarships are available in the following categories:
– Women in Architecture
– Residential Design
– Sustainable Residential Design
– Residential Construction Management
– Skilled Trades
Students pursuing studies in interior design, construction, architecture, landscape architecture, architectural engineering and the skilled trades are encouraged to apply. In addition to submitting a brief essay on their design and architecture influences, applicants create a Houzz professional student profile where they can showcase their portfolio and connect with more than 3 million active construction and design professionals around the world.

Each year, the Houzz Scholarship Program recognizes students who demonstrate outstanding passion and commitment to the future of residential construction and design. Congratulations to the 2026 scholarship recipients:
– Women in Architecture: Gwen Fazio, studying architecture and urban planning at University of Michigan
– Residential Design: Syania Brown, studying interior design at The University of Georgia
– Sustainable Residential Design: Victoria Olaleye, studying architecture at Louisiana State University
– Residential Construction Management: Adam Walker, studying construction management at National American University
– Skilled Trades Residential Construction: Cameron Chadwick, studying carpentry at Pine Technical and Community College
Preparing Students for Careers in Construction and Design
Beyond scholarship support, Houzz helps students gain practical experience through Houzz Pro for Students, a free one-year subscription to Houzz Pro available to eligible students enrolled in residential construction and design-related academic programs in the U.S.
