The first quarter of the year was action-packed for our international team who were excited to meet with our professional community in-person again. With teams at European trade shows Intergift, kbb, HOMI and Maison&Objet, we had the opportunity to meet with industry professionals, learn about their businesses and help them to get the most out of our Houzz Pro marketing and business management software.

We kicked off this tradeshow season in Madrid at Intergift, the largest exhibition dedicated to decor and interior design in Spain. There, we officially launched the Houzz Pro 3D Floor Plan and Moodboard tools for local industry pros. The show offered the opportunity to meet with members of our local pro community face-to-face and demo the newly launched tools plus our augmented reality-powered measurement tool, which provides a quick, easy way to capture and store room dimensions for a floor plan.

Our team also presented on stage as part of the conference schedule, sharing actionable tips for pros on how they can use Houzz Pro to elevate customer experience and operate more efficiently.

In early March, our UK team was in Birmingham for kbb, the UK’s largest exhibition of kitchen, bedroom and bathroom brands and trends from around the world. The energy was high and our team connected with many designers, builders and renovation professionals, who were able to test out the new kitchen features available within the Houzz Pro 3D Floor Planner. The team enjoyed showing pros how the tool can help to quickly and easily communicate their vision for a kitchen project and showcase the value in making significant changes to the space.

Later in March, our team was at HOMI in Milan, also known as the Lifestyle Trade Fair, to connect with local pros in Italy. On the seminar stage, Leonora Sartori, editor for Houzz Italy, hosted a session highlighting the latest interior design trends and sharing insights from the Houzz community. We also hosted a presentation on how digitalization is impacting the home improvement industry and provided suggestions for how businesses can respond to changing consumer needs.

Wrapping up this spring trade show season, our French team was in Paris for Maison&Objet. It’s one of the most influential interior design exhibitions in the world, and our booth was packed with a diverse group of pros and a hive of activity with our biggest ever presence at the show. Each hour, our team presented in-depth Houzz Pro demonstrations and shared advice for businesses on how to go digital and level up their customer experience.
